Project Overview

System & Product Summary

Cadena Tickets is an event registration and ticketing platform engineered to deliver seamless attendee onboarding and venue pass management. Built from provided Figma designs, the front-end architecture utilizes Twig (Timber) template engines, custom PHP hooks, modular CSS styling, and customized SBO plugins integrated with WordPress & WooCommerce event ticketing engines.

The Challenge

Core Problem & Friction

The client needed a bespoke event ticketing platform matching strict Figma design specifications while integrating existing SBO company theme components and event management plugins without sacrificing page speed or checkout reliability.

Systemic Constraints

Pixel-perfect adherence to Figma UI components, seamless integration with proprietary SBO plugins, mobile-responsive layout consistency, and sub-1s ticket purchase flow.

Feasibility & Discovery

Engineering Research

Analyzed theme component modularity in Twig/Timber. Developed reusable template modules to decouple presentation layouts from back-end ticketing logic, enabling rapid layout adjustments while preserving strict design alignment.

The Solution

Solution Implementation

We translated Figma design assets into modular Twig templates and lightweight CSS components. Leveraged custom PHP integration hooks for SBO theme plugins and WooCommerce event ticketing pipelines to achieve fast sub-second page loads and seamless mobile-responsive checkout experiences.

Tradeoffs & Rejected Approaches

Opted for server-side rendered Twig (Timber) templates instead of heavy client-side JavaScript frameworks. This ensured instant initial page renders, superior SEO indexing for event landing pages, and minimal memory footprints on mobile browsers.

Engineering Optimizations

Optimized asset delivery by bundling modular CSS stylesheets and deferring non-critical scripts, achieving clean 60fps scrolling and fast ticket form interactions across devices.

Metrics & Results

Quantifiable Impact & Metrics

Delivered a pixel-perfect, live production platform matching all Figma design specifications, with instant responsive mobile ticket selection and secure checkout processing.
